When they were conquered and led into captivity, so the theory goes, they brought their scriptures to Jerusalem and they were subsequently combined into what we know today as "The Bible". My understanding of the Brass Plates is that they belonged Manasseh (Laban kept the records for Manasseh at Jerusalem). Therefore it makes perfect sense that they weren't identical to what we now refer to as The Bible, with its amalgamation of different stories (as you point out earlier).<br /><br />I don't see this as criticism so much as it is explanation.<br /><br />There are a lot of people who criticize the Book of Mormon but most of those people have never spent much time reading it for themselves.LLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05538854359365988863noreply@blogger.com
