I came across this very good quote by Chief Justice John Roberts:
"We have a Statue of Liberty. Does that mean we have to have a statue of despotism?"
In response to a comment I got on this post, I should add that the obvious answer to this question should be, "No." That answer and the context from which it was taken should show what he meant by it. He was using it to make a statement that Government is allowed to promote some messages and ideas while not allowing other opposing ideas equal opportunity and expression.

You might want to add a bit of context so people know that Justice Roberts wasn't really implying that we need a statue of despotism. :)
